Support

How to get help with Lumen.

Lumen runs entirely on your device, so there is no account to recover and no server-side state we can inspect. That keeps the support surface small and honest.

Bug reports and feature requests

The fastest path is GitHub. Open an issue at github.com/Lux-Softworks/Lumen/issues with:

  • iOS version and device model.
  • Lumen version (Settings → About).
  • A description of what you did, what you expected, and what happened.

If the bug involves a specific page, include the URL. We do not collect any of this automatically, so the more you write, the more we can act on.

Direct contact

For anything that does not belong in a public issue — privacy concerns, App Store questions, press — email dkosukhintech@gmail.com. Replies usually land within a few business days.

Before reporting

A few things resolve themselves:

  • Model failed to download. First launch needs network access to fetch the language model from Hugging Face. Check connectivity and reopen the app.
  • Library looks empty. Clear Browsing Data resets the library. The action is destructive and not recoverable.
  • Knowledge answers feel off. The model runs locally on a small parameter count. Phrasing the question differently often helps.

What we will not ask for

We will never ask for your browsing history, your library contents, or any personal credentials. Lumen has no way to read those off your device, and support does not need them to help.
